Vendor Application For 2021
University City Farmers Market is now accepting vendor applications for 2021, our first full year of our farmers market! The Market will be open every Saturday 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. May through October. The University City neighborhoods are full of great customers who are passionate about locally produced goods, and we would love to get you connected!
- The 2021 Market starts May 1st and runs 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. every Saturday (rain or shine) until October 30th.
- Vendors must be set up in designated areas along the lake at Shoppes at University Place no later than 7:30 a. m.
- Free parking is available for everyone
Fees (due upon application approval)
- $50 each Saturday.
University City Farmers Market is a producer-only farmers market, and as such we are only accepting 2021 applications from Charlotte area growers, producers, and makers. Resale of
wholesale items is not permitted, nor do we permit vendors to sell ready-to-eat
prepared foods unless they are primarily made with local ingredients.
As part of the application process, vendors are required to submit a description of
their products, mission, and practices. Preference is given to growers and vendors
who use sustainable practices in producing and making their goods. Organic
certification is not required, though respected and encouraged.
Since we’re extending the Market from last year, and to give more vendors the opportunity to join the market, vendors can choose to attend one of our two alternating sessions:
May 1, 15, 29
June 12, 26
July 10, 24
August 7, 21
September 4, 18
October 2,16, 30
May 8, 22
June 5, 19
July 3, 17, 31
August 14, 28
September 11, 25
October 9, 23
Space is limited and may change based on availability.
Vendors will be informed before March 1st if they were accepted in the market. Please
email any questions to the Market Manager, Christi Trumper, at
